Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a Strategy and Programme Manager who can collaborate with stakeholders to develop transport strategies and programmes of work that will enable the county to respond to our transport challenges sustainably.

Hertfordshire County Council is committed to increasing sustainable transport and enabling changes in travel behaviour which increase the number of journeys made by walking, cycling, passenger transport and other sustainable modes.

The work in the Highways service provides a broad range of transport planning opportunities and to use and develop a wide range of skills including project management, communication and engagement, plan & programme development, GIS and experience working in a political organisation.

We are looking for self-motivated and enthusiastic individuals to help us develop ambitious transport strategies and schemes to ensure that our residents and visitors can travel across the county in the most sustainable way.
