We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with children and young people to join us in the Summer and Christmas school holidays for the Holidays Activities and Food Programme.  The aim of the programme is to encourage children to be more active over the school holidays and to take part in engaging and enriching activities which support the development of resilience, character and wellbeing along with their wider educational attainment.

As a Volunteer Children’s Activity Club Worker, you will be helping to run activity sessions for the children of Wokingham Borough relevant to their age range.  In this role you will be engaging residents in a variety of activities such as art, music, drama and various sports.

This is a great opportunity for you to share your skills in any of the activities above or let us know of any skills you have that you are happy to share!

What’s in it for you?

  • Experience working with children.
  • Opportunity to gain a reference for college, university, or future employment.
  • Chance to develop new interests that could alter your career goals.
  • Develop your communication skills with individuals from a range of background.
