We are currently recruiting for a Senior Revenues and Systems Officer with a wide range of skills and experience across various aspects of revenues and benefits.
Along with the Senior Revenues Officer (Recovery) you will be responsible for the day to day management of revenue staff. You will have responsibility for the testing of new releases of computer software prior to implementation and to train staff in its use.
You will also deal with the more technical aspects of revenues including the investigation of and responding to customer comments and freedom of information requests.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in a revenues environment and a sound understanding of the law relation to Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates. You will have proven technical systems knowledge of revenues on-line computer systems and experience of dealing with complex Council Tax and Non Domestic Rates queries. You will have good numeracy skills and literacy skills, be able to prioritise workloads and have excellent communication skills.
You should also be qualified to the IRRV Technician level or equivalent.
