This a newly created role and an exciting opportunity to come and work for the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead in a challenging and busy Customer Services team. We are on a journey to transform the wider Housing, Environmental Health & Trading Standards support services, having an opportunity to recruit talented and ambitious people to create a high performing support team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can help us to shape the support service, providing wider support and advice to both our customers and staff. You will be responsible for a small team dealing with initial enquires and signposting to the right service and officers. The team will be the first point of contact for our customers and responsible for the invoicing and administration of the wider services.
You will provide administrative support, including minute taking, call handling invoicing and budget monitoring for the wider service, with direct line management responsibility for the technical support officers, providing one to one support and mentoring. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to fulfil this senior position.
Strong interpersonal skills and high level of organisational skills will be required to manage a diverse workload. Confidence to take decisions within agreed parameters will be essential. If you are able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills, be able to organise and prioritise your own workload, have good IT skills, your strengths are guiding and leading and motivating team members and are keen to make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
