Project Manager

Rushmoor Borough Council is looking for a new Project Manager to join the team…

  • Organised & Self managing?
  • Great attention to detail?
  • Enviable people skills?
  • Keen to make a difference?
  • Want to work in a changing and dynamic environment?
  • Passion for managing projects that make a real difference to local people and communities?
  • Want to earn up to £40k doing a job you love?

If this describes you – we have the perfect vacancy for you right now.  Its an exciting time at Rushmoor with opportunity to really influence project delivery and an interesting range of projects under way – all focused on improving the borough as a place to live and work.   You may be supporting the development of new country parks or the repurposing of sites to generate a sustainable income for the Council to name a few of projects in the varied programme of work.

The projects you will manage form part of our Property & Major Works Programme and will need a Project Manager who can handle the whole range of project aspects, including developing scope, scheduling, finance, risk, quality and resource management.  Of course you will also monitor performance of your projects and ensure milestones are met.  Your people skills will be what really help you pull this all together – it takes a special kind of person who can juggle all this with the right balance of project & results focus, but also with exceptional people skills.  You will have a way of bringing people together and holding them to account whilst building excellent and resilient working relationships.

Day to day you will manage your own workload and conflicting priorities, but all with the backdrop of a supportive team around you and a great deal of positive interest in the projects your holding.

Working largely from home you will have the flexibility to manage your own time and working patterns, connecting daily with the teams your working with to achieve what needs achieving.  So if this sounds like it's up your street, bringing your organisation and influencing skills, apply today.

For an informal chat about the role, call Paul Brooks, Head of Property, Estates and Technical Services on 01252 398544.

We can’t wait to hear from you.

Closing date 27th June 2021
