An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (30 hours) Business Support Officer to join the business support team within the Adoption Service. This is a demanding and challenging role and you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.
You will be responsible for providing effective business support to a team of staff to assist in the smooth running of the service and its day-to-day functioning. We are looking for an experienced administrator with a sound knowledge of MS Office packages and the ability to use dedicated database applications. You will be a confident communicator, able to liaise with internal and external customers. You will have the ability to work under your own initiative and be able to prioritise whilst working under pressured timeframes. You will need to be organised, have a proactive attitude and be willing to support the wider team. The role will include administration of meetings, and the ability to take minutes in a fast-paced environment is essential.
The role is based in Medway and some travel may be required.
