Specialist Teaching Assistant

A Specialist Teaching Assistant is required to join the Sensory Service, Hearing Support Team. The position is part time and peripatetic. 25.2 hours a week, term time. Only Extensive experience working in schools with deaf children is essential. The successful candidate must have British Sign Language skills up to a level 3 (or working at).

This position will initially, in line with current government guidance be based from home. In future, the Council will be moving to a hybrid of working arrangements for many of our roles with a combination of homeworking, office and site working as required.
