Are you looking for a varied role that will give you an understanding of the whole organisation?

Do you want to gain a qualification in a supportive and friendly environment?

We are currently looking to recruit an Apprentice to work in the Administrative Services Business Unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with teams across the Council as well as the Senior Leadership Team and elected Members.

You will work towards the Level 3 Business Administration Standard whilst undertaking a role that really makes a difference; the support you provide to teams will ensure that the Council is able to effectively deliver services to residents in the district and meet the aims of our Community Plan.

If you have good attention to detail, can work as a team or using your own initiative and have excellent communication skills then this may be the role for you. We are looking for candidates with Grades A*-C (9-4) in GCSE English or Maths, or equivalent, or who are willing to undertake their functional skills as part of their apprenticeship. You will also be a motivated individual, with good ICT skills, who strives to work to a high standard at all times.

You should enjoy working in a process driven role with a team aiming for the same goals and you will be able to prioritise work effectively whilst working accurately and to deadlines.

For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Diane Kirk on 01636 655454.
