Salary Range: H9- M1 £32,234 progressing to £39,880pa plus £6,000 relocation package, £1000 welcome payment & lease car* terms apply

Watford & Three Rivers Adult Disability Team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker. You will join an experienced and supportive team. Our focus is to ensure we enable people to make positive decisions in their lives, promoting their independence and that they can take part in their local community.
The successful candidate will have post qualifying experience of working with vulnerable adults within health and social care settings and have had some involvement in multi-agency work. You will be motivated by and dedicated to continuously improving health and social care practice. We aim to support people to be an active and influential member of their community by promoting true citizenship.
This role will include:
- Providing professional leadership in situations which are complex or ambiguous
- Using analytical skills to inform assessment, decision making and intervention, supporting others to do the same where appropriate
- Completing support planning with service users to ensure that outcomes identified at assessment are met through the provision of support, equipment, adaptations and enabling programmes
- Engaging with, assisting and providing advice to carers, conducting carers assessments when appropriate,
- Supporting and acting as an assessor for newly qualified social workers as part of their ASYE programme
There will also be opportunities to undertake specialist training to maintain and progress a career within our organisation and for the mentoring and supervision of non-qualified staff and newly qualified social workers.

You will be a qualified, registered Social Worker who has successfully completed an ASYE program and is working to the Social Work England professional standards. You will be required to attend meetings virtually but also in person both in and out of county. Therefore, applicants will need to have a full UK driving license and use of a car.
