This role involves the delivery of income management, maximisation of ground rent and service charges income from homeowners and using innovative ways of increasing income collection to recover debt, whilst providing a high standard of customer service. The successful candidate will possess experience in leasehold management and preparing service charge accounts, managing income accounts, debt recovery, knowledge of accountancy principles and internal controls relating to income accounts and the ability to calculate estimated and actual service charges for invoicing. The successful candidate will also possess excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, analytical, numeracy, interpersonal, prioritisation, organisational and I.T. skills.
- Be responsible for the delivery of income management, maximising ground rent and service charges income from homeowners and taking prompt and appropriate action.
- Be familiar with the range of recovery processes that apply to leasehold and freehold tenures and the implications for debt recovery in relation to each tenure.
- Assist the Leasehold Services Manager in promoting and delivering the services provided by the Leasehold Team to residents and WATMOS staff.
