Cover Supervisor

Start date: 1st September 2021

The Howard School/Waterfront UTC are pleased to offer a new flexible route into training to become a teacher for graduates and would-be graduates. This exciting opportunity combines teaching experience as a 'Cover Supervisor' with a training opportunity to become a teacher.

To apply for this role you must have a strong desire to become a teacher and ideally you will have a degree; however this is not necessary for the right candidate, who is prepared to complete a part- time degree with the support of The Howard Academy Trust. The Trust will pay for you to access 30 credits a year and offer you release time prior to taking examinations.

The Cover Supervisor will be expected to deliver interventions and support the Learning Support Assistants.
