More about the role:

As an experienced Contract Administrator in the gas sector, this is your chance to find your own personal greatness in this role where you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining 3 gas contracts including regular contract meetings, compiling, and updating relevant data, managing KPIs, managing installation programmes, ensuring all documentation is kept up to date and compliant behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council’s Housing Team. The Housing Property Team delivers a wide range of services to our residents, by ensuring that appropriate investment is undertaken on our tenant’s homes, ensuring they have a home fit for purpose for the future.

The role will be a varied one, the right candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with both tenants, colleagues, and contractors. You will have relevant technical knowledge and relevant experience within the gas industry and be aware of relevant legislation regarding landlord's gas safety and auditing. Candidate will have level 5 NVQ or higher within the sector or have applied skills, knowledge, and experience within the required field. Candidate must be willing to work towards qualifications if this level is not currently held.
