£42,821 to £45,859 (pro rata)

 

Fixed Term Contract for 12-months, or 12-month secondment opportunity.

 

The Champs Public Health Collaborative is looking for two full-time and one part-time Programme Manager(s) who have experience in programme and project delivery. Post holders will be proactive, innovative, and ambitious, as well as keen to join the Cheshire and Merseyside Champs Public Health Collaborative.

 

The post holders would be working on behalf of Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health and the Health and Care Partnership on the following programmes:

 

  • Inpatient detox - bed access within drug (and alcohol) services for this grant funded programme

  • Contact Tracing Education - for all Contact Tracers in each local place and across Cheshire and Merseyside as a whole with a contribution to regional and national developments

  • Workforce Development - for population health and wellbeing with the health and care workforce, within each local place and across Cheshire and Merseyside as a whole.

 

These are fixed-term contract posts, funded through grants received from Public Health England and Health Education England, or from collaborative funding from the Cheshire & Merseyside Directors of Public Health.

The post holders will provide programme management undertaking directly commissioning activities, project management for these programme areas. You will have experience of managing projects and the changing demands that this work often presents.

 

You must be able to work to tight deadlines, have an ability to ensure high levels of intellectual rigour, political awareness, negotiation, and self-motivation skills as well as flexibility.

 

These posts are for a 12-month period, on a fixed-term or secondment basis. You would be a team member of the Champs Support Team, hosted by Wirral Council. The Champs Support Team leads, facilitates, and enables the delivery of a range of key programmes of work on behalf of the Cheshire and Merseyside Directors of Public Health (Champs is hosted by Wirral Council).
