Job Title: Deputy Team Manager – Business Support
Salary: £35,745 - £39,880
We are looking to recruit a Deputy Team Manager for our Business Support team to deputise for the Business Support Manager and lead on aspects such as debt recovery and the administrative support functions for Older People in East and North Hertfordshire. The Business Support Team provides support services to the front-line social work teams including debt recovery, complaint management, direct payments, safety improvement, system support, administrative support and budget management.
Reporting to the Business Support Manager, the successful candidate will manage a variety of staff members including those who investigate complex debt cases and who provide administrative support to the social care frontline operational teams. Critically, the role will also provide management capacity to workstreams delegated by the Business Support Manager including corporate and ACS wide projects and initiatives.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate proven experience in managing staff, the ability to develop excellent working relationships with management and colleagues at all levels and have a positive, enthusiastic and inclusive approach to their work. They will need to ensure high quality support is provided to all teams, workloads are managed, and new ways of working are implemented successfully. Applicants will need experience in a management role.
