The salary for this role is £45,734- £51,725 per annum for a 36 hour working week.

We are seeking people to join us in driving fundamental change and be part of developing new ways of working and behaviours, strengthening and changing relationships, and joining up and joining in across teams, with partners and with communities to contribute to the delivery of our refreshed organisational strategy & the Community Vision for Surrey in 2030.
We are looking for a strong project manager to drive forward an evolving set of projects within a complex and moving context. You will be able to ensure the delivery of outcomes to time and budget while retaining flexibility to enable the project to respond to and build on new opportunities as they arise and adapt to learning as it occurs.
We are looking for people with:
- The experience and ability to manage multiple projects across definition, design and delivery phases - ensure high quality governance, planning, reporting, financial monitoring arrangements are in place
- Excellent communication, networking and influencing skills - with experience of working with a broad range of stakeholders, internally and externally, at all levels to drive forward project delivery and providing constructive challenge
- Strong organisational and business change experience - with an understanding of what it takes to enable transformational change, in support of better outcomes for residents
- “Hands on” project management experience - with the ability to proactively develop plans, briefs, manage risks and issues, working collaboratively with teams and partners to enable progress and support benefits realisation.
Formal training and accreditation in project management, and experience with agile project management approaches, would be desirable but is not essential. Experience and/or knowledge of Local Authority and working with communities would be an advantage but again is not essential.

The role is initially fixed term for 1 year, with strong potential for extension.
The roles will be formally based in Reigate and some travel to other venues in Surrey will be required for specific meetings or workshops. However, during the Covid19 restrictions, home-working is in place and post Covid19 the proposal is to retain an agile workforce approach, including home working and flexible use of local offices in Surrey. We will make sure you have everything in place to do this effectively, including training in Microsoft Teams.
