The Active Lifestyles Team are responsible for delivering a portfolio of numerous Health, Sport and Physical activity programmes working with a wide range of partners and contributing to key council priorities including Health & Wellbeing, Most Vulnerable and Community Resilience.
The Active Lifestyles Team delivers a number of healthy lifestyle initiatives around physical activity, nutrition and behaviour change. The team are looking to recruit a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our high performing team.
The Assistant Development Officer will support with the communication, promotion, delivery of sessions and act as administrational support (including database management) for the Active Lifestyles Nutrition Based Programme. Excellent ITC skills are essential as you will be expected to carry out monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
The role involves contact with a wide range of individuals from health professionals to patients, Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are essential elements for this post. This role will also involve supporting our other programmes and services in an holistic approach to individual and family well-being.
