Finance Systems Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our finance team for a Finance System Specialist, who will have responsibility for maintaining financial systems, controls and processes. Working closely with finance colleagues, you will review and develop process efficiencies, making better use of the system and technology. You will also lead & support new finance systems and/or new version releases.

You will have a critical role in developing reports across the organisation and will liaise with external audits as part of the annual statement of accounts production.

 About you:

The successful candidate will be a good team player, will be analytical, possessing good problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritise their own workload, and be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

You will have experience in Business World On (Agresso /Unit 4), which is the Financial system used by Wokingham Borough Council.
