We are looking for a commercially minded transformation lead to work with our Place directorate.
Working within an extensive transformation programme, you will focus on supporting services to develop new delivery models. These will include greater commercialisation of services, redesigning activities to bring together different elements and generate additional income, and working with our town and parish councils to develop shared services and improved service delivery.
You will work as part of a virtual team of project managers across the organisation with a wide scope to contribute to the development of our services and the organisation as a whole.
You’ll come to us with a strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Prince 2 and Agile, experience of implementing those and of change management processes and approaches. You’ll be someone who is comfortable with a wide-ranging workload, and who is able to manage multiple, complex workstreams. You should have experience of working successfully with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities and convert them into successful projects.
A knowledge of the breadth of council services and experience of working with town and parish councils would be an advantage.
*To note, we are currently working flexibly from home.
