Apprenticeship Support Skills Broker

Apprenticeship Support by Be More is recruiting an additional Apprenticeship Support Skills Broker to join our team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a track record in delivering high quality Information, Advice & Guidance to young people and adults. A confident public speaker with the ability to address different audiences such as school assemblies and career fairs and engage and motivate residents in understanding more about Apprenticeships, their benefits and their opportunities would be an ideal candidate.

The Apprenticeship Support by Be More contract has responsibility for promoting apprenticeships across Liverpool City Region delivering:

  • Interactive Skills Shows and Events
  • Apprenticeship Support focussed Outreach events and activities

The Apprenticeship Support by Be More Team is independent and provides impartial professional skills brokerage support to stimulate apprenticeships (at all levels) with residents in Liverpool City Region. The post holder will establish and build strong working relationships and respond to referrals from local partners and agencies and will promote apprenticeship solutions to learners, providers and employer ambassadors.

Additionally, the post holder will be instrumental in:

  • driving forward the Apprenticeship Support Ambassador Network;
  • stimulating more individuals to follow apprenticeship skills progression routes;
  • the development of the Apprenticeship Support by Be More website and;
  • the promotion and marketing of apprenticeship activity via social media channels.

Evidence collection and evaluation of activities is integral to the work of the Apprenticeship Support Skills Broker.

Please note the Employment, Learning & Skills Division has been awarded the DWP European Social Fund (ESF) and Single Investment Fund (SIF) contract for the Apprenticeship Support service, which is contract managed by the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

The role will involve regular travel across the borough and sometimes further afield. Therefore, the post holder must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Where necessary, reasonable adjustments will be made in accordance with the Equality Act.
