Job Title: Social Worker, East and North Herts Older People
Salary Range: £27,741 - £39,880pa depending on grade and experience + £6,000 relocation package, £1000 welcome payment & lease car* terms apply
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract (secondment if internal applicant)

We are looking for a dynamic social worker for a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The right candidate will have commitment to supporting the local community and building links and networks for the people we work with. You will need to be Social Work England registered and have knowledge and experience of relevant legislation. You will have the ability to undertake innovative assessments and care planning with individuals, carers and their personal support networks.
The East Herts Locality team provide support to adults with a diagnosis of dementia and older adults. We promote personalisation through our new assessment process focusing on the wellbeing of the individual. Through care planning we strive for increased independence, choice and control by offering personal budgets to enable people to direct their own support.
We are based at Farnham House, Stevenage however we encourage working flexibly with the benefit of a laptop and smart phone so that you have the option of working at home or at one of our touchdowns across the area.
