Community Services would like to recruit a full time Community Services Administrator. You will be part of a small yet pivotal administration team, providing support, information and advice to colleagues within the Community Services team as well as to some of the most vulnerable residents of the Borough.
Based at the Civic Centre, you will primarily be the point of contact for residents, their families, voluntary and community sector organisations, Adult Social Care and health professionals on the Community Alarm & Telecare, GPS location service and other community services provided by Runnymede Borough Council and Surrey Heath Borough Council. Part of the role will involve responding to general enquiries, receipt of referrals for services and requests for ongoing support from service users.
In providing this service, you will also act as the link between the person contacting the service and the operational teams and partner borough councils, providing services out in the local community and other statutory services. Therefore, you must have effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities as well as a strong team ethic and interact well with others.
You will contribute to the ongoing improvements within Community Services in terms of meeting the expectations of customers, whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships. You will have advanced ICT skills and be required to work other partner systems effectively. Maintaining accurate records and adherence to Data Protection legislation is essential.
