Opportunity to join an exciting team within Community Short Term Service. Craven Vale is a 31 bed residential home which provides short term residential care services to adults living in the city of Brighton & Hove.

About the role

We need a Service Support Manager to join our other Service Support Managers to work with us in providing a safe and good quality service for adults requiring short term rehabilitation or respite care.

Service Support Managers work with an in reach multi-disciplinary team at Craven Vale (Care Staff, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational therapists, Social Workers).

Their role is varied and requires good management skills. You will be expected to lead and manage a team of staff in providing community short term services to meet the needs of individuals with complex medical and social care needs.

You will support the Operations manager in providing effective leadership for the development of a quality service that meets CQC regulations and provides value for money.

You will promote and actively implement legislation imposed by the Care act to ensure service users receive a safe, effective, appropriate service that enables them to achieve and maintain independence, dignity and choice.

You will actively promote and role model the values of choice , independence, dignity, respect and re-ablement.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
