The council is looking for a talented Communications Officer to provide communications support to its people-focused teams, including Children’s Services and Adult Social Care and Housing.
You’ll be involved in explaining changes or new developments in these areas - so those impacted know what we’re doing, what’s on offer, and how they can help shape our plans. You’ll also be involved in supporting complex or sensitive issues. With good news sense and editorial skills too, you’ll be adept at crafting messages both for sensitive and positive stories.
It’s a chance to find your greatness by keeping the people we serve informed. With the council continually developing services to support its people, you’ll have plenty of exciting things to share.
You know how to create insightful campaigns, target different audiences and develop successful communication plans.
