Education & Childcare Co-ordinator

Are you an experienced Administrator? Do you have knowledge of the Early Years sector? We are looking for an Education and Childcare Coordinator.  This role is key to the success of the team in facilitating Childcare provision and supporting parent’s and childcare providers.


About you…

  • An experienced administrator used to working in a busy customer focused environment
  • Able to effectively deal with customer queries
  • Organised, able to work accurately and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills, able to use Microsoft Office applications and web based programmes
  • Previous Local Government experience and an understanding of Early Years sector would be beneficial, but not essential to this role


About the role…

The Education and Childcare Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:

  • Co-ordinate and process funding for Early Years Entitlements
  • Respond to parent/carer queries
  • Accurately record and maintain data
  • To support and resolve funding issue with Early Years providers accessing Government funding
  • Update and maintain the Rutland Information Service website
  • Contribute to the wider working of the Learning and Skills Service


Please note the working hours for this role will range over 5 days per week.


The successful applicant for the Education and Childcare Coordinator post will be subject to a standard check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The costs for the DBS are paid by us.


The Education and Childcare Coordinator interviews will be held on 05 October 2021.  Please be advised this could be subject to change, in which case we will give appropriate notice.
