Eastlea Community School is seeking to appoint an experienced, hardworking  and diligent Exams Officer to effectively administer all aspects of the school's exam provision and the school timetable.  Whilst experience in timetabling is desirable, we will provide training, if the successful candidate does not have previous experience.

At Eastlea it is our aim to get the best out of every student, because of this we put teaching and learning at the centre of all aspects of our work. Our vision is based upon clear and concise values: Aspire, Respect, Integrity, Curiosity and Enjoyment. Our students are our greatest asset.  They are motivated, articulate young people who deserve the best that we can offer them.

We are keen to appoint dedicated colleagues who are eager to support our students to achieve in all aspects of their life and who want to be key contributors to our school's success. Eastlea has recently come under new leadership and this is an exciting time in the school’s development.  It is now part of a local Trust (NCST) with three other local secondaries.  NCST has a strong reputation for working with local Newham schools for the benefit of the whole community.  The new Executive Headteacher and the Head of School are highly experienced leaders in Newham and are committed to the highest standards of education for our local community.  Any member of staff who joins the Eastlea at this time will benefit from the sharing of expertise and professional development opportunities that exist across the MAT.

Please refer to the Job description and Person Specification when completing your application.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need a full DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, which can be applied for once a job offer is made.
