We have an exciting training opportunity for a Career Grade Quantity Surveyor to provide support for the delivery of a portfolio of high-profile capital projects. This role includes helping the Quantity Surveyor on the commercial aspects of the New Engineering Contract (NEC) to gain a good understanding of its practical use and will include work on monthly forecasts, valuations, reviewing programmes, management of costs, assessing applications, and quantity surveying. The role will also require you to apply your academic knowledge in a practical way. You will engage with colleagues in procurement, commercial, site supervision, finance and communications providing accurate and timely information. The current range of capital projects includes Arlesey Relief Road, M1A6 Link Road, Biggleswade Transport Interchange and Flitwick Transport Interchange.
