Customer Services & Revenues Systems Manager
Grade M1/M2 Salary £34,002 - £41,404 per annum (dependant on experience).
We are looking for a well-organised, self-motivated, strong Customer Services and Revenues Systems Manager, who can work under pressure and meet deadlines, in our busy Customer Services and Revenues Team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day integrity of the Council’s major financial systems located within the Finance and Customer Relations Division with particular emphasis on maintenance of the Academy and Civica systems. You will be expected to continuously develop the software systems to improve efficiency within the division as a whole and within Revenues and Benefits specifically.
In addition, you will be responsible for completing Government returns, Freedom of Information and NFI data matching requests. You will also be responsible for systems administration of the core IT applications including overnight batch work.
You will be IT literate, having at least three years’ experience working in a technical role. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining a range of key applications and working closely with the Council’s Database Administrator.
You will need to be well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) are necessary as well as the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
You will have strong IT skills and experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office applications. This is an interesting and varied role which requires an excellent eye for detail and the ability to ensure all tasks are completed and documented fully.
