37 hours, per week

Fixed Term Contract up to 24 months (with a possibility of becoming permanent)

We have an opportunity for an ICT professional to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining all of the Council’s ICT hardware and software used by ICT users including problem resolution. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in supporting future technology to the Council and its customers, therefore demonstrable experience in an ICT support environment is required.

The successful candidate will share Newark & Sherwood District Council’s Values and be committed to supporting the Council in the delivery of its Community Plan by ensuring that relevant equipment is maintained, is virus free and that any issues are dealt with to resolution.

You will have extensive knowledge and experience of supporting a range of operating systems and application software as well as upgrading server hardware and applications physically and virtually. You will have strong problem solving skills, an effective communication style and be committed to providing excellent customer services. You will also have an organised approach to work and be able to prioritise in a busy environment.
