Our Heritage and Culture team are responsible for providing a link to our history as well as maintaining the cultural and entertainment venues within the district such as the Theatre, Newark Castle and the National Civil War Centre.

We are currently recruiting a Cleaner to join our Heritage and Culture team. As part of the role, you will undertake site specific cleaning in all public and back areas of the buildings you are working in including, but not limited to, exhibition spaces, learning areas, front of house, backstage, stores, corridors and staircases, washrooms and WCs, kitchen areas, reception, café and grounds.

The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role and have a good awareness of Health and Safety. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will be committed to providing excellent customer service. You will have a flexible approach to work and will be available to work at all Heritage and Culture sites as required.

Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to lift and use a range of cleaning equipment.
