ICT Data Technician Apprentice

Do you have a passion for data and an aptitude for stats? If so, West Berkshire Council's ICT department want to talk to you about our Data Technician apprenticeship (fixed term for 24 months from start date).

You will be taught skills aligned to the British Computer Society (BCS) Level 3 Data Technician role:

In addition to a thorough grounding in data and analytics, this role will manage the day to day running of the Council’s Natural Language Processing (NLP) Chatbot, working with key stakeholders to deliver more focused content and develop integrations into Council systems delivered from the Bot.

The Data Technician Apprenticeship is an excellent way to start your career in data science or analytics.

Entry Requirements:

Two A Levels grade A to C, or equivalent including Maths or Statistics and English or the ability towards Functional Skills Level 2.

A relevant degree qualification is desirable (though not essential for the right candidate).
