More Information

Disadvantaged Student Coordinator & Intervention Lead (HLTA)

Edgbarrow is located in the village of Crowthorne, Berkshire.  It is a thriving, vibrant and high-achieving secondary school where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated.  Crowthorne is located approximately 3 miles from Wokingham and Camberley and 12 miles from Reading.  It enjoys excellent links to surrounding villages, towns and cities via the M3, M4 A329M, and local rail networks.

We are looking to appoint a Disadvantaged Student Coordinator to monitor the progress of the disadvantaged pupils, to support them and their parent’s engagement with the curriculum and co-curricular activities and act as an advocate to fully access school life.  This is a HLTA role but training will be provided to those that are not qualified.  Applicants should have the skills and a proven record in administration and the ability to be flexible.

Edgbarrow School believes in setting the highest standards in all areas of school life and we are looking for a purposeful and committed individual who wants to join and enhance our strong team.  We offer an excellent induction programme, promotion prospects and a highly supportive working environment.

Edgbarrow School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. It is essential that all members of staff and volunteers share this commitment.  An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for all posts.

If you are interested in joining Edgbarrow School and you have the skills and the qualities required for this post, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Please note that all applications will be considered upon receipt.  We reserve the right to close the advert early should the right candidate apply.

Employment is with Corvus Learning Trust and not Bracknell Forest Council.  The trust is very popular and for most posts a large number of applications are received - it is therefore not possible to notify all applicants of the outcome.  Please accept that if you have not heard within three weeks of the closing date then, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful - in which case we offer our best wishes for the future.

Closing Date: 8 October 2021 @ noon

To apply for this post please complete the online application form.  For further information regarding the school please see www.edgbarrowschool.co.uk
