Full time 37 hours per week  FTC until 31/12/2024

A New and exciting opportunity to work on the national Restart Programme – supporting individuals back into work, training and/or self-employment 

We are looking for committed individuals who have experience of working within an administrative, data and or support role to work within the Council’s Employment, Learning and Skills division. The successful candidate will assist in the development and growth of provision by providing an effective support service to the staff and stakeholders of HPIJ’s employment projects. You will contribute to strategic plans by providing data for statistical reports and funding returns.

Working under the direction of the one of the Service Managers, the postholders will work within the new Halton People into Jobs/Restart team supporting the Team Leader, Advisors and other front line functions providing a bespoke employment support service for individuals that have been unemployed for over twelve months.

You are required to have proven experience of updating and maintaining a Management Information System and experience of working to tight timescales and completing tasks according to action plans.

You will act as first point of contact/reception meeting and greeting customers and must have previous front line experience of working in a customer focussed environment.

The post will involve supporting colleagues with appointments, liaising with partner agencies, and following up any issues associated with the project.

You will process orders and invoices within designated timescales using the Council’s Finance Systems e.g. Agresso to help provide interventions for participants in a timely and effective manner.
