Arun Wellbeing has a vacancy for a FULL TIME Wellbeing ADVISER.

Fixed term contract to 31st March 2022 – with the potential to extend further, funding dependent.

Salary: £22,627 - £24,491 per annum

Working from both home and community locations across the Arun District.

Arun Wellbeing has a vacancy for a Wellbeing Adviser, working within a proactive and friendly team at Arun District Council.  Our Wellbeing Advisers offer Wellbeing checks, meet clients on a one to one basis, lead weight management classes and pre-diabetes courses, and get out into the community to promote health and wellbeing through talks and promotional events. Our Advisers also deliver stop smoking cessations and NHS Health Checks.     


Arun Wellbeing has been commissioned by the West Sussex County Council Department of Public Health to develop a prevention and wellbeing programme for adults of all ages.  We have a particular focus on supporting behaviour change in people with increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease, stroke, type two diabetes and some preventable cancers through providing information, signposting and motivational support.  As well as the core team of wellbeing advisers, the wider Arun Wellbeing team members offer physical activity sessions, fuel poverty advice and a family-based wellbeing programme. The Wellbeing Team support people who live and work across the whole of the Arun District, and therefore work from different locations around the area. Due to applicants must have a full driving licence and access to a car.
