Pensby High School is an 11-16 co-educational and non-selective secondary school; in a highly selective local authority. We are currently looking to employ a Teacher of Humanities with the ability to teach Geography to KS4 essential. Pensby High School has seen a rapid improvement in outcomes for its students. We are committed to placing the development of teachers and therefore students¿ learning at the forefront of what we do. As a result we are seeing a rapid growth in the number of students across both key stage 3 and 4, with parents and students increasingly seeing the school as their first choice.
New appointments are supported by a tailored coaching programme and all staff contribute to a collegiate coaching programme.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to offer to teach across a range of Humanities subject; Geography, History, EP, PHSE and Citizenship:
Teach key stage 3 and 4 Geography
Display and promote excellence in teaching and learning
Have a commitment to raising achievement
