The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Manager who will own the governance and compliance function within the company and build / manage a compliance team in line with the growth of the company in different geographical locations we are / will be operating.

The successful candidate will report into Chief Operating Officer (COO) and will need to work closely with our in-house General Counsel to agree upon the deliverables, and with the business in general for the implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage compliance including, but not limited to data protection, anti-money laundering, counter-fraud, vetting, anti-bribery, anti-corruption

  • Own and proactively develop compliance training materials, policies and procedures to ensure they are up to date and reflect recent legal developments and best practices

  • Own and proactively develop departmental OKRs

  • Own and proactively develop the company's business continuity plans

  • Coordinate periodical activities around the company’s ISO 27001 certification

  • Conduct investigations, where needed

  • Own Data Protection related tasks:

    • Act as Data Protection Officer (DPO)

    • Act as Incident Response Manager (IRM)

    • Manage day to day activities arising from data protection regulations, e.g. DPIAs, IRRs, etc.

Requirements

  • Compliance management (counter-fraud, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, AML, vetting)

  • Data protection, including experience in GDPR implementation, incident response, individual rights requests, DPIAs

  • Acting/deputising as DPO/IRM

  • Understanding in information security management, including cyber security

  • Experience in risk management and audit oversight

  • GDPR Practitioner, CIPP or CIPM (or equivalent) is essential

  • Counter-fraud certification is essential

  • Information Security certification, would be beneficial but not essential
