The role of a Customer Services Advisor is to provide good quality advice and information to those contacting Adult Social Care and to effectively signpost if appropriate to other agencies to prevent or delay the need for Adult Social Care using community based assets and the live well directory.
To provide good quality information, advice and support to those contacting Adult Social Care. To be able to gather good effective information by telephone to form the basis of a social care needs assessment. To ensure referrals are routed appropriately and against eligibility Criteria.
It is essential you have excellent communication skills and are able to use office IT systems and client system databases. Knowledge of the care act will be desirable.
You must be able to work as part of a busy team.
