Teaching Assistant

Whitegate Church of England Primary School wish to appoint an exceptional teaching assistant to support the teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom. 

This vacancy is full-time and is based on 30 hours each week. Grade 5 and on two afternoons Grade 6.

We are looking for someone who is committed to the Christian vision and values of the school, has a child-centred approach, is reliable and resilient and has energy and enthusiasm. They will also be keen to learn and come into the school with fresh and new ideas to add to such a busy and lively environment. The candidate should have the ability to put their initiative and experience to good use.  They will need be able to work effectively as part of a team and always want to go that extra mile for every single child.

The successful candidate will be required to provide class cover for at least two afternoons per week.

It is essential that the suitable candidate will be skilled and have training and experience of working with children.

Start date: 1st January 2022 or earlier if possible.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting the school office. These will take place on Monday 18th October at 1:30pm or Tuesday 19th October at 4pm.
