Housing Improvement Program Team Chargehands (3 positions)
Full Time 36.25 hours per week
Band F £30,451 to £33,782 per annum
The successful delivery of our Home Improvement Program has resulted in a need to expand our current workforce and supervisory management team.
We are looking for 3 motivated people to join our In-House Team to support the delivery of the council’s Home Improvement Program to its housing stock across the district. The role of the Chargehands is to help and support the Team Leaders with the day-to-day management of all types of capital improvement and building works across a diverse range of occupied and vacant council properties.
You must have excellent customer services skills to work within our customer focused team and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You must also have good verbal and written communication skills; excellent organisational skills and the ability to supervise and arrange the effective delivery of the varied work of your team.
Ideally, we are looking for people who have worked as a qualified trades operative with previous supervisory experience and experience of using repairs software systems. You must have a working knowledge and understanding of the relevant Health and Safety legislation and be able to demonstrate safe working practices. You must also hold a current full driving licence.
