Digital Officer

At Epsom & Ewell, we aspire to deliver high quality services to our residents. We might be small but we have big plans to serve our population of 80,000 residents. We are investing in our future, increasing strategic capacity and exploring new ways of working. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to perform system data management and to publish web content. This is an interesting and varied role which requires excellent technical and people skills.

You will have recent, extensive experience of manipulating data and publishing content using a variety of tools. You will ensure data is held securely, is GDPR compliant, accurately classified, with the agreed retention policies correctly applied. You will ensure that data on our website is published in line with the digital services guide.

This is a diverse role where you will liaise with every business unit. You will require strong technical skills to support the migration of relevant content to cloud based systems. You will actively seek opportunities to perform business process improvements, so data is shared and stored using the most appropriate medium.

You will need to be a good communicator, possess excellent organisational skills and have a proven track record in stakeholder management. You will effectively champion effective data management throughout the organisation.
