Mobile Device Support Officer - Remote Working

The starting salary for this role is £27,641 per annum and is based on a 36 working hour week. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Service Assurance Team within Orbis IT & Digital as the Mobile Device Officer.

As the Mobile Device Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day Business as Usual Tickets reported to IT & Digital. This will involve you being the first point of call for all mobile device related issues and providing A class service to our customers and ensuring that all standards have been met.

Coming into a dynamic busy team you will be fully supported and provided with full training and will need to work closely with the Mobile Device Consultant to ensure that Processes, Policies and Procedures are relevant and up to date.

Working closely with our IT teams, internal departments (Procurement, Finance, and Internal Audit), Customers and 3rd party suppliers and building strong working relationships will also be essential for you to be successful in this role.

Skills and experience we would love you to have are:

  • Proven experience with providing top class IT Support to a large organisation
  • Ability to prioritise own workload to ensure work meets SLAs
  • Experience with working on improvement initiatives
  • Friendly, proactive ‘can do attitude’
  • Pick up new technical skills quickly
  • Experience with Supporting iOS devices (iPhones)
  • Produce documentation and user guides both written and via tutorial videos
  • Team player to help the team to setup and deploy devices

This is a multi-site role, so travel around the Surrey Geography is a requirement with the occasional travel to the Orbis Geography (Brighton & Hove, and East Sussex).
