HIF & Regeneration Senior Communications and Marketing Officer

We are on the hunt for a talented and experienced strategic marketing professional to lead on the communications of our major £170 million infrastructure project on the Hoo peninsula in Medway. This is one of the biggest regeneration projects currently under development in Medway and we want to ensure strong communications and engagement with all our stakeholders particularly with local residents.  Ideally with experience of leading communications for similar large infrastructure projects and an understanding of the planning environment, the post holder will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Housing Infrastructure Programme (HIF) and the council’s wider regeneration programme.

The role will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy involving wider public/partners and creating effective community engagement, ensuring residents and partners are kept informed and engaged with HIF and regeneration developments. This will be achieved through a range of channels including digital and social media, printed materials, virtual and physical meetings, workshops, and events.
