About the role
This temporary role for 12 months is to support the team of HR & OD specialists in the delivery and implementation of employment law in relation to case work, recruitment and learning and development activities. It is essential you have a working knowledge of applying employment legislation relating to these areas.

The role will be wide and varied and no two days the same, however this will be an ideal opportunity to explore the various aspects of HR within a local authority setting.

You will be well organised to meet often conflicting priorities, and a competent user of different information systems. Experience of using HR databases and proficiency in the use of Microsoft programmes including, Word, Excel and Teams is essential.

Ideally you will hold a qualification gained through the CIPD or can demonstrate comparable experience.

Additional information
The team are currently working in an agile way with a blend of office and home working. To ensure your induction and training you will need to be available initially to be based in the office four days per week.
