Domestic Retrofit Coordinator

Starting salary:                   JG7:- £28,672 per annum

Location:                               Based in the Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare

Hours:                                    37 hours per week

Contract:                               Fixed term - 12 Months

This is an exciting new opportunity to help take forward an ambitious programme of home energy improvements across all sectors in particular retrofit projects. The fixed term position based in the Housing Adaptation and Improvements Team.


The Council are currently delivering a project under Green Homes Grant LAD 1b and plan to continue home energy efficiency work through government funding initiatives. 


The Council has declared Climate and Ecological Emergencies and have developed an action plan with key targets to improve home energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. Excellent communication skills are vital for this role as is an innovative and flexible approach to achieving outcomes.


The successful candidate will have a vocational qualification or experience to level 3 or 4 or above, in either Housing, Construction or environment (or related) . They must have Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management together with demonstrable experience of working in this area.
