Location: Stevenage, Farnham House (with requirement to travel and work across the county and remote working from home)
Salary Range: £27,741 to £30,451 depending upon experience
Hours: 37 per week (Flexible Working Arrangements Considered)
Contract: Fixed Term – Maternity Cover

Job Duties:

An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Monitoring Officer in Health & Community Services – Integrated Community Support Commissioning Team based at Farnham House, Stevenage, though the role will be mostly home based for the duration of this contract.  Localised travel may be required as part of the role.

Quality Monitoring Officers will provide support to our Monitoring Officers by contacting Service Users to seek their views about the service they are receiving.   Feedback from these visits will form part of the overall monitoring of home care provision already in place.

Duties could involve a combination of the following tasks:

Ensuring risks to users identified are addressed, and problem-solving with stakeholders to ensure the care package is delivered as intended and risks to the Department are also minimised and challenging poor customer care practice.

Facilitating communication with and on behalf of users/carers that have specific concerns/complaints about providers. Liaison with Client Relations staff. Contributing to meetings held under the Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Procedure

Build up ongoing professional connections with the service users you are supporting, getting an understanding of their needs, and how these change over time.

Supporting with appropriate signposting for service users as a result of discussions held with them.
