Community Safety Investigator

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic practitioner who shares our organisations values and behaviours to join our busy Community Resilience Team.


As a Community Safety Investigator, you will have wide ranging expertise in dealing with anti-social behaviour and have experience of problem-solving community safety issues.


You will be part of a joint multi skilled innovative enforcement team reporting to the Community Safety & Environmental Enforcement Manager as well as working closely with our dedicated Police team.


This is a high profile and rewarding role dealing with emerging community safety trends, making a real difference to the lives of those who experience crime and anti-social behaviour in the Epping Forest District.


We are a progressive and transforming local authority and you will be required to deliver customer focused services as ‘one team’ utilising innovative methods and technology. 


As the successful candidate you will have the ability to work on your own initiative, help build excellent working relationships with external partners, businesses, stakeholders, Councillors and Senior Managers.


You will also be an influential decision-maker who will contribute to the wider aims of the Council and its partners to keep people safe and improve the perception of crime in the District.
