An opportunity has arisen for an experienced person with excellent PA and administration skills to join the Board Business Delivery Team in the Children’s Services Directorate, delivering support to the Directors of Children’s Services on a 12 month contract.
The successful applicant will be responsible for PA / Administration support including diary management, managing incoming and outgoing emails, report preparation, supporting meetings including minute taking, answering telephone calls and general support with other administrative tasks as required. Along with strong communication skills both, written and verbal, you will require great attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks, using your own initiative.
Your day to day work will require you to liaise directly with Members, Directors, Heads of Service, senior officers, as well as Members of the Public so you will need to display an approachable and friendly manner.
Although the role will see you supporting Directors within Children’s Services, you will be expected to work as part of a team, assisting other Board members and respective colleagues as and when the need arises. You will report into the Business Delivery Manager.
