Business Change Project Manager - 12 month FTC

Are you an experienced project manager?

Do have excellent planning, organisational and communications skills, and want a new challenge where you can really raise your profile and make a difference to the community? If the answer is yes, we would love to hear from you.

You’re going to have a big impact on what we do, so you’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work. To deliver a better today. And to create a better tomorrow

We’re always looking for better ways of doing things. How can we make the most of our resources? Get vulnerable people back on their feet more quickly? Create new spaces our residents want to spend time in? These are just some of the types of projects that are under way across the council. Project Managers need to be highly motivated and able to work well with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

We are recruiting for a 12-month fixed term contract project manager within the Business Change Team focussing on the successful set up and operation of new community centre facilities in two new community hub buildings.

Because we’re Bracknell Forest.

What it’s like working in our team…

This role will give the opportunity to build effective relationships with public, private, non-statutory and community stakeholders, and be a part of providing new community facilities for local residents.

You will be supported throughout your role and will be encouraged to undertake any relevant training and development.

You will be supported to carry out the following duties, responsibilities and training…

  • To provide project management expertise to help ensure the effective and efficient delivery of new community centres and facilities including managing interdependencies, risks and issues and excellent stakeholder management.
  • Project managers may manage more than one project, be asked to change projects or take on new projects.

The benefits you will experience are…

  • Regular opportunities for development and training.
  • Flexible and home-based working opportunities.
  • An inclusive and friendly working environment.
  • Discounted leisure centre and gym membership.
  • Supermarket discount.

What we’re looking for…

We require highly motivated individuals to join the business change team to co-ordinate the effective and efficient delivery of change projects.

If you have strong project management experience with excellent planning, organisational and communications skills and want a role where you can really raise your profile and make an impact, we look forward to hearing from you.

Interview date

Interviews will be held on 7th and 8th December 2021
