Classroom Teaching Assistant

Required from January 2022

We are seeking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant who is enthusiastic about, and ideally has experience of, working with students with special educational needs.

The successful applicant will join our special educational needs team, managed by the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator. They will work across the school in various departments, providing support for children with special educational needs and working closely with class teachers to ensure these students reach their potential.

There will be opportunities to run small group interventions depending on the candidate’s previous experience, and a wide range of CPD opportunities, with training provided to aid with the support of various specific difficulties and disabilities. This provides an excellent steppingstone for those looking to start a career in teaching.
