The Highways Services Section within Neighbourhood Services has an exciting opportunity working across highways licences and streetworks management. We are looking to strengthen our existing team with customer responsive applicants with a ‘can do’ attitude who will thrive in this varied and challenging environment.
The main purpose of this post is to manage and support the streetworks permitting and licencing team to process all permit applications in a timely manner in accordance with the required guidelines. Resolving any potential clashes for planned works and liaising with statutory undertakers on any emergency works. Managing and leading on streetworks inspections for permitting and Highway licences. Providing updates and works progress information to our Communication department and answering queries from residents, Customer Service and Councillors.
The post is predominantly remote working with occasional requirements to attend one of our offices and to visit site in Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas of the Borough.
