As a Family Navigator, you will be critical to the success of Sandy and Biggleswade Locality Children's Centre and the 0 - 12's Family Service.
In this important and varied role, you will be part of a team offering a welcoming and accessible service that meets and adapts to local needs. Day to day you will be the first point of contact for families and other professionals contacting the Children’s Centre in person, by phone, email and via social media. You will support and signpost families to access the correct level of support they require.
You will be confident and resourceful, an excellent communicator and keen to learn and develop new knowledge and skills. This role includes inputting data onto an EISi system, marketing sessions, contacting families and professionals by email, phone and in person. The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel is essential in providing admin support for the Locality Manager and wider team.
Experience in volunteering or working with children and families would be an advantage. You will be working as part of an established Children's Centre Team working across the Sandy and Biggleswade area and will need a positive and flexible attitude towards change as the team and service develops.
